My name is Kat, and while I wasn't born and raised in New Orleans, it's my forever home. I moved to the city in 2014 to join AmeriCorps, and haven't stopped crafting since. From building homes, to making Mardi Gras throws, I LOVE getting my hands dirty.

Currently, I ride in the Krewe of Cleopatra and the Krewe of Iris (yeah, yeah, I know I’m a psycho) and I’m a Captain for Krewe des Fleurs. I was once quoted in the New Yorker saying “Mardi Gras is my life” and I truly meant that. For me, Mardi Gras is 365. On average I make 600 float headpieces a year (shoot me a message to start your float!) and hundreds of custom Mardi Gras throws.

There’s not a craft project I’m not willing to try—I’ll make anything once! But here you’ll find a collection of what I’m hyper-focused on right now, mostly Mardi Gras and Louisiana themed jewelry and accessories with some lagniappe sprinkled in.
